Imagine a world where our phone constantly rings with annoying calls from telemarketers and scammers. It's a real hassle that invades our privacy and disrupts our day. Our team aims to help people to block these unwanted calls so we can have a more peaceful phone experience. No more interruptions from unwanted callers – just the calls we want to receive.
Since the team is already defined what functionalitites they need, this project is mainly focused on designing the visual look of the app. The project is started by creating a moodboard and exploring the UI design. The client also asked me to provide the logo and general visual identity for the app since they don't have any designers handling to handle this.
The output of this project is a MVP app to block phone numbers from calling the users. The flow is quite simple, you just need to copy the caller's number, then paste it into Ceksiapa. We'll give you the detail about whose number is this and see people's comment about this number. Block if you've figure out that this number came from scammers.
In this project, I also responsible to explore the app logo and the visual identity. The final logomark was made from a combination of magnifying glass, a phone and letter C. Magnifying glass and a phone represents our vision to help people to identify unknown caller and the letter C representing the initial of our product name, Ceksiapa.
The objective of this project is to deliver the minimum version of a phone number blocker app. Since it was still a MVP, this app still a lot of improvement and feature development to give more seamless experience to the users. Working on this project also made me learn to design a visual identity that represent the product vision. It helps me to widening my skillset, not only focus on UI/UX design, but also visual design too, even the scope is only defining the logomark of the product.
